Our hearts go out to all those that were affected by Hurricane Helene. The impact on Asheville and Western North Carolina has been significant, and we stand with those who have just begun to recover from this devastating storm. We've spoken with officials from the City of Asheville and we are confident that working together, the Asheville Marathon & Half will go on!

The city is preparing to start the permitting process soon, and events like ours will play a key role in Asheville’s recovery. The course may be altered and things will definitely look different, but despite any changes that come, the spirit of Asheville’s running community will remain strong.
