COURSE
The Asheville Marathon & Half are point-to-point races that takes participants on a running adventure through the best parts of this iconic community. Both courses begin in the heart of Downtown Asheville at Pack Square Park. Runners will traverse city streets and then head north through the historic Montford neighborhood. After a generous descent into the River Arts District, the remainder of both courses follows the banks of the French Broad River through parks and greenways and concludes at Karen Cragnolin Greenway Park. Both courses are USATF sanctioned and certified and the marathon is a Boston qualifying event.
Marathon Certification number: NC24001DF | Half Marathon Certification number: NC24002DF

- Mile 15.5 – 11:21am

Bag Drop
The bag drop station will be located at the top of Pack Square, adjacent to the pavilion. Affix the Gear Check tag from your race bib and drop a bag with a change of clothes. We'll move it to the finish line for you. Any clothing you plan to discard at the start line will need to go into your bag prior to dropping it off.
