Our Featured Ambassador, Taylor Bell, shares some great tips in her blog post “Winter Running“:

“Lets just face it, I love winter running!  I love it so much more than hot summers.  I love that I can pick any time during the day and go, its always cool to cold, perfection!  Of course, I don’t live in an extreme Northern Climate, but it gets cold here, very cold at times.  I feel more comfortable in the cold, runs are more enjoyable, its just easier to me.  But…this comes at a cost, some necessities for winter running are great gear!”

My fall Races/Goals were … during a time when I was 23 weeks pregnant so as far as running goals go it is to keep running!  I ran the Bethel Half on Saturday October 12 and just wanted to finish well.  I just welcomed a new baby into the world in February!  Staying Fit is my goal!  I did not run the 2013 Asheville Marathon, but my husband and dad did, I was a volunteer and support staff on race day.  My favorite part of the race from that standpoint was the pure grit of the runners on that cold day! Come find me at the race expo this year, I am helping out as a Race Expo Coordinator!
