My fall races/goals were the Asheville Citizen-Times Half Marathon on 9/28/13 with a goal of beating 2:18:00 and I beat it with 2:17:09. I am also doing the Rock & Roll Las Vegas Marathon on 11/17/13 and had a goal of finishing in 4:59:59! My favorite part was running right by the Biltmore House (even though I’m a Pass Holder and frequent it often, nothing beats RUNNING by it!) and also crossing the finish line jamming to my favorite song by Old Crowe Medicine Show, “Wagon Wheel”. Something about that song pushes me hard.
