Balega will be distributing neon socks at the Race Expo for the original Hunter Subaru – Asheville Marathon on Biltmore Estate. Balega is a Zulu word meaning “to move with speed.” Make the Balega name come to life as you don their neon socks as you streak from start to finish at Biltmore! The proceeds from these socks will be donated to both of our race charities!
As an internationally active organization, Balega does much more than create a great line of socks: they also incorporate their heritage, values, and ethics into supporting a wide variety of causes worldwide, including Mission Cancer and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society which you will be directly supporting on race day. Their ideas of “healing through running” and quality products goes hand in hand with some of iDaph’s core values: originality, accomplishment, community, fun, and memories made!
Balega products are produced in Cape Town and distributed internationally via Hickory, NC. As supporters of Mission Cancer and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Balega feels that jumping on the Asheville Marathon bandwagon is a great way to support both of these causes and Western North Carolina: their home away from home.
With awesome manufacturers and a warrior heritage behind them, Balega socks will make the perfect accessories Make your contribution to some worthy causes at Biltmore by highlighting your fleet feet with some neon gear from the Balega tribe! Who knows? Maybe you have a little warrior in you as well.
I guess we’ll just have to wait and see!
