Looking for a Challenge of Epic & Royal Proportions?

The Asheville Marathon & Half Kick of the 2017 Royal Trifecta Challenge

The Asheville Marathon and Half at Biltmore Estate is the kickoff race for a Royal Trifecta of fun and racing in Asheville. The other two races in this group include the Biltmore/Kiwanis 15K or 5K which follows the March start in May and the Asheville Duathlon, 10K off road run or Gravel Grinder bike race in September.

While many challenges are completed over the course of a weekend, the Royal Trifecta takes place over six months. All three races are held on the beautiful Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC.

The 2016 Trifecta Challenge will be wrapping up on September 11th at closing ceremonies for the Asheville Off Road Series.

In the last four years, these epic three races have been combined to make up a challenge of epic proportions. The incredible scenic setting of the Biltmore Estate makes for a challenge that cannot be compared with others.

The 2017 Royal Trifecta challenge kicks off In March with the Asheville Marathon or Half Marathon. Both events are on the Biltmore Estate. In 2016, the Backyard to Vineyard challenge also came into being so participants could do both in one weekend.

Come May, the Biltmore/Kiwanis 15K or 5K must be completed. As of July 2016, 56 people had completed one of the March and one of the May races and were registered for the final leg in the Trifecta.

The Royal Trifecta Challenge wraps in September with the chance to get on a bike for a part of your completing the challenge. There is a CAM16687-(ZF-1780-66220-1-026)duathlon, an off-road 10k or a gravel grinder bike ace that comprise the Asheville Off-Road Series and define the final piece of the Royal Trifecta.

Those who are able to stay the course and successfully complete all three races will be royally rewarded at the awards ceremony for the Asheville Off Road Series in September

Registration will officially open for the Royal Trifecta challenge events this fall so stay tuned!
