My Fall goals are a duathlon the weekend of October 12th and then the Cherokee 1/2 the next weekend, October 19th, where I’m hoping to get under 1:36. I am doing the Salem Lake 25k in January and the Uwharrie Mountain 20 Miler in February in preparation for the Asheville Marathon at Biltmore Estate. I’ll be getting my long training runs in at Bent Creek to get prepared for the race.
My favorite part about the Inaugural Biltmore marathon was the course. It was tough, but beautiful. The long range view of the house on the west side of the estate about mile 14 or 15 was incredible!
